1 Samuel Chapter 1 tells the story of Hannah, a woman who was deeply sorrowful because she had no child. In her pain, she prayed earnestly to the Lord and promised that if He blessed her with a son, she would dedicate him to God’s service. The Lord heard her prayer and gave her a son named Samuel. This chapter teaches us about faith, sincere prayer, patience, and God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him.
